SRI English pathway students are ready for Uni!
Sarina Russo Institute English graduates Kiki, Cheryl and Stella are all set for university this February, thanks to their successful completion of our pathway courses. All three students are now eligible for direct entry to their university courses without further need for external English testing. As well as achieving the English level required, the students have gained valuable academic and study skills.
Kiki, from Kosovo, will head into James Cook University Brisbane’s Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP), in preparation for a Masters degree. She recently completed the SRI English Unipath English 2 (Advanced) Program. Stella, from Vietnam, completed our Bridging Entry English Program (BEEP) and is headed for the James Cook University Townsville campus to begin a Masters. Her classmate Cheryl, from China, also completed BEEP and will study her Masters at James Cook University Brisbane.
Cheryl loved the open and diverse study environment. Stella found our learning materials, especially our online iLearn system, very useful as they made the course interesting and easy to submit assignments efficiently. She also appreciated the chance to increase her skills and learn about Australian culture. Kiki also really liked our course materials, finding them helpful to improve her skills. All three students rated the quality of teaching and learning as excellent and would recommend their course to family or friends. It’s also safe to these three are now friends for life!
