Sarina Russo Awarded ‘Champion of Entrepreneurship’

This week, Sarina Russo was recognised as one of the most exceptional entrepreneurs in Queensland as she took home the  ‘Champion of Entrepreneurship’ at the 2018 EY’s Queensland Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.

With 39 years’ experience within her field, Russo is currently at the top of her game with the Sarina Russo Group being Australia’s largest provider of employment and apprenticeship services.

When accepting the award, Russo stated “It’s wonderful to be acknowledged by such an iconic company as EY but even more inspiring is the quality of Queensland entrepreneurs who will be representing the State at EY’s National Entrepreneur of the Year Awards later this year.

“Entrepreneurship is a journey of transformation – it’s how you embrace the uncertainty of disruption along the way which governs your future. You must be ready for anything. You may not like it.  It may be painful but from pain can come incredible joy and fulfilment.

“I continue to stay hungry for success because I believe I haven’t yet arrived at my greatest achievement – the quest for success is an everlasting.”

This isn’t the end for Russo though as she continues to soar and kick new goals daily. Like Russo says, “See you at the top!”
