Did you attend our extra-curricular music class? Last Tuesday, Laura, Rebekah and Rebecca held a fabulous music class where students learnt the entire “Better Be Home Soon” song by Crowded House. Did you attend the Ekka? Last week, Rebecca and Naomi held a fun-filled class full of Ekka inspired games and trivia competitions. Throughout this class, students were able to learn about the Ekka’s rich history and its unique role in the life of Queenslanders. Thank you Rebecca and Naomi for orchestrating another successful event and to everyone who attended.

Over the weekend, a large group of enthusiastic SRI English students and teachers attended the Raise Your Voice Choir Festival. Raise Your Voice is a two-day choir festival held in Queensland that brings together international students, community choirs and singers. Thank you to Naomi and Rebekah for orchestrating this event and to all of the students for attending.

This week we celebrated the graduations of 3 of our advanced (UPE2) students who have all worked extremely hard and are now ready for their next challenge at BEEP. We couldn’t be prouder of our graduating students and can’t wait to see them again soon in the BEEP program.

Another fabulous SRI English excursion bites the dust. For this week’s free excursion, students had a private tour of City Hall’s Clock Tower and visited the Brisbane Museum.
