? Did someone say sushi? ? This week our SRI English students were joined by the SRI Careers international VET students in a free sushi making class. This was a wonderful activity with both groups of students coming together and bonding over delicious, homemade sushi rolls.

When a clock is hungry, it goes back for seconds… and that’s exactly what our students did! For this week’s free excursion, students had a private tour of City Hall’s Clock Tower and visited the Brisbane Museum.

This week, our students were treated to a another Craft Workshop! ? For this particular workshop students created Chinese New Year inspired fridge magnets. It was a surprisingly relaxing activity which allowed students to get creative with different patterns.

Another fabulous excursion! Last week, a group of eager SRI English students ventured off to Queensland Art Gallery/Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA). GOMA is a modern art gallery in the heart of Brisbane that showcases more than 400 artworks by over 80 individuals, collectives and groups.

This week, we held our monthly Coffee Making course. It was great to see everyone displaying great barista skills. Jo was very impressed at how well everyone was doing.
