#LETSTALK ABOUT DEPRESSION

#LetsTalk about depression. Today is World Health Day and the World Health Organisation has reported that “depression is the leading cause of ill health and disability worldwide”.

Depression affects more than 300 million people worldwide of all ages, all walks of life and in all countries.  If you are experiencing depression, ‘let’s talk’, there are services available.

Sarina Russo Institute Student Counsellor, June Menzies, has reiterated a key message, “depression is not something to be ashamed of, it is an illness that many people face and it is treatable”.
