Brisbane’s Christmas Wonderland
Christmas traditions vary greatly among Australians, whilst many people celebrate the religious traditions of the season; there are many others who also enjoy family traditions and the many festivities that engulf our beautiful city throughout December. In Australia, Christmas is very hot with many families choosing to escape to our cities surrounding beaches, whilst others brave the heat and flies to relax with a cold drink around the BBQ.
As Aussies, these are a few of the things we love about Christmas!
We love Santa and the magic surrounding him and his flying friends. We love Christmas lights, singing carols, outdoor cricket, Christmas trees, Pavlova, seafood, mangoes, tinsel, candy canes and spoiling our loved ones with a gift. Some of us celebrate before Christmas day and some of us celebrate on Christmas day, it’s really just a wonderful season where we enjoy the company of the people around us.
