SRI students set for university
Sarina Russo Institute English graduates Kushal and Dan are all set for university at the end of May, thanks to their successful completion of our Bridging Entry English Program. They are now eligible for direct entry to their Masters at James Cook University Brisbane without further need for external English testing. As well as achieving the English level required, the students have gained valuable academic and study skills.
Kushal, who is from Nepal, said the most useful component of the course for him was writing, which he had the opportunity to greatly improve during this course. Chinese student Dan thinks the best thing about course was the variety of knowledge gained through the course’s interesting range of topics.
When asked if they would maintain their friendship at uni, the answer was a resounding yes! “We’re like brothers now” says Dan, with Kushal adding, “We help and support each other”. Completing a pathway course gives students a chance to settle into Brisbane life and make new friends prior to commencing university.
Want direct entry to a Masters at James Cook University Brisbane? An English pathway course at Sarina Russo Institute may be just what you are looking for! Our courses are also great for non-pathway students who want to increase their academic English skills so they can face Australian university life with confidence.
Our English pathway courses have three intakes per year (March, June and October).
